Bacova Beer Company is a small, family run brewery nestled in a mountain valley in Bath County, Virginia. We believe in brewing truth, not trends. Some folks think that this craft beer thing is just a trend...that it won't last. Truth is that beer has been around in all its various styles and flavors for millennia. Making and drinking beer is in our roots as Americans too. Towns had their neighborhood brewer just as they had a baker or blacksmith. It's engrained in our culture and sets us apart. Our purpose is to return to the American roots of beer. Beer has gotten too big, too mass-produced, too corporate. We seek to bring beer back to small towns and restore our community through beer. Bacova Beer is a meeting place for locals and tourist alike to commune over a fresh pint and share in a common bond. People have been doing this since before recorded history…it’s time we got back to it! Join us in our odyssey to continue our cultural tradition of making and consuming beer in all of its various styles. Our taproom is open so stop by for a pint, take home a growler, and/or a 4-pack of cans!
