Commensal Fermentation is a veteran and minority owned brewery in Portland, Oregon. It was formed by Michael Mathis and two of his long time friends from different parts of his life. The brewery focuses on beer as a brewery and not set the limit on what they choose to make, nor what they can make. They have a taproom that features their beer and seltzer, curated natural wine, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages.
