Our Story YEARS OF HISTORY The city of Cadillac was originally known as “Clam Lake”. The appropriately named “Clam Lake Beer Company” has a rustic and industrial aesthetic highlighting the history of Cadillac industry. Starting with a blank canvas in a grand historic building, Clam Lake Beer Company was created using a modern perspective of the history of Cadillac. Clam Lake Beer Co., formerly Shay Station, is now an exciting 139-seat tap house /restaurant. The stunning bar and surrounding tables and stools evoke the early industrial feel of Cadillac while the custom metal artwork, lighting, exposed brick and wood flooring are all visual call outs. A group can go and everyone can find something to order. The atmosphere is also first rate from friendly staff to a well designed and tastefully restored design with comfort and character. Helene Service was extraordinary! The place ran like clock work and our food and drinks came out amazingly fast. Our server Robin was very efficient and friendly. Kudos to the kitchen! They all seemed to have a great camaraderie! I loved watching all the different orders come up. We can't wait to come back and try more! Everything looked fresh and fabulous. Jade We were greeted and seated promptly and pleasantly by the owner. She warmly told us she was turning us over to Katelyn, who didn't miss a beat in providing great service. Food was above average taste with beautiful presentation (ahi tuna, BLT pizza and cold beer). We loved the decor, the vibe, and the whole experience. Nick There is great burgers and a wide range of menu items. This is probably the best restaurant in Cadillac. Really friendly staff and awesome house beer. The interior is bright and clean. Views of the lake are also so nice! James We camp nearby 2-3 times a year and always stop here for a couple of pints and a meal. They have one of the best draught lists in the state and will fill growlers. The food is always amazing and they are beyond cool with any mods depending on your dietary needs. They also brew and anything they make has been spot on. Highly recommend this great brewery.
