Martha's Vineyard namesake beer launched May 29, 2013 on the Island. A portion of her profits benefit The Island Food Pantry. The Bad Martha Farmers Brewery is open seasonally from May to December and features a rotating list of 10 different beers to choose from for sampling and enjoying. The brewery is located in an Amish built post and beam barn and adjoined by a beer garden patio surrounded by Donaroma's Nursery brimming with flowers, plants, and trees. The only food served are cheese, charcuterie, and vegetable platters featuring island ingredients. Local cheese from Grey Barn Farm in Chilmark, Lavash crackers and beer mustard from Scottish Bakehouse in Vineyard Haven, and produce and herbs from Morning Glory Farm in Edgartown.
