Brightside Aleworks was opened in October 2017 by the husband and wife duo, Andrew and Molly Frana. Their backgrounds in water quality engineering and food science, combined with their passion for great beer, quickly positioned Altoona, Iowa as a destination for craft beer lovers in the Des Moines metro area and beyond. Featuring twelve taps of thoughtfully crafted beers highlighting local and seasonal ingredients, we invite you to raise a glass and drink on the Brightside!
